The recent burial of George Floyd is a painful reminder that racial injustice is still quite prevalent in society and a signal that there's much work for us to do collectively. We are inspired by the worldwide response to the eradication of racial injustice, the anti racist movements we've witnessed in which... people are standing up and using their voices through peaceful protests gives hope that a powerful change is possible and that Mr. Floyd wasn't laid to rest in vain. The responsibility of eliminating racsim falls on all of our shoulders and long after the protests are over its important that we continue to take action by speaking out against racism and racial injustice whenever we see it. As a league we vehemently condemn and reject racism against anyone, period. It directly contravenes the values that NBL Canada hold dear and truly has no place in our society. #BlackLivesMatter #RIPGeorgeFloyd
