Believe it or not that's the only pic I have of me at work, sometimes you gotta run with what you got :) Krista here from St.John's Soap Works, so I just wanted to stop by for a sec and first off say thanks to everyone for the support during this really hard time. Second I want to do a quick reminder of just how important it is to support small business right now. Lots of business are closing, some by choice, some due to regulations, some unfortunately due to covid cases. The... fact is some of these businesses will not reopen. Without income small business can't afford to stay open. It's just that simple. Also to shut down during Valentine's week is also extremely difficult. For some of these businesses the revenue during this time enables them to remain open for the upcoming months, these include jewelery stores, restaurants, body care, brewery's, it's a huge financial loss. Is it the right thing to do to close right now, yes. Does it make it easier, no. So I wanted to give a gentle reminder to please support local. If a business offers curbside then use that option, if they offer home delivery, awesome you can shop in your pj's. The thing is we are loosing way too many amazing local businesses right now. If you need to buy something, look at your local options, good chance you will find one. If your not shopping you can promote their online store through social media to show support. It's a really hard and scary time right now for everyone. But we can get through it together. Please be safe, use your mask, wash your hands, and continue to support local when you can. I've been working flat out but needed to stop in and send a Huge Huge Thank you to everyone that stopped by with donations, sent money via email and through our online store for the Little Free Pantry. You are so so amazing. I also want to send an extra big thank you to the Gentleman who dropped by with the Coleman's Gift card, you are the Friggin Bees Knees! I was so excited I didn't even ask your name!! Everything is so appreciated and will be used daily. This time of year ...is so hard on everyone, your kindness has been amazing. Also want to say the little pantry is full there now but if you want to drop off donations there are boxes for warm clothes and food next to the pantry and you can also pass it inside and we will use it to refill the pantry over the next few weeks as it's being used. Our little pantry is having a hard go of it this past two weeks. Pretty much empty every morning this month. When your doing your Holiday cleaning keep us in mind. Every little thing helps and it is greatly appreciated by those that use it.
