ADOPTED!! Eli is a five-month old kitten who had a tough start in life, although has been loved by a kind family in Charlottetown. He is being rehomed due to family allergies. He loves cuddles, and is good with children. He has not been in a home with other animals, so he would need an adjustment period if he is joining other furry family members. He is healthy, happy and is excited to meet his new family. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in learning more about this cute little guy.
Prim is a two year old boxer cross that was surrendered through no fault of her own. She is a high energy lady, who needs to join an active family who can provide sufficient exercise and training. She currently pulls on leash, and will be rehomed with her harness to ensure safety while walking (she is loves to run and will need training because she has no recall at the moment). She is friendly and has been tested with people, dogs and cats and did not show an issues (although... we always recommend all introductions to be done in a controlled manner). Due to her energy level and because she currently jumps up with excitement she might be a risk to smaller children (falling over due to her silliness). She is looking for her forever home, residing in PEI currently. For an application, click here: https://form.jotform.com/Haven_Storm/AdoptionForm

MUSHU UPDATE Little Mushu is in isolation due to how contagious this virus is. She got an IV last night and this morning had a nasal feeding tub inserted to gi...ve her much needed nutrition. She is being given antibiotics and pain killers to keep her calm and comfortable. She is stable but far from being out of the woods. They still have us at the awful MR of 50% but I’m looking at the positive.. little mushu has a 50% chance of beating this virus. Her protein/platelets/white blood count/ liver and kidney levels are all the same as yesterday...which isn’t bad news it means she is stable and maintaining. Thank you to everyone who has shared her story and donated, we will know more tomorrow family! I will keep you posted. With Love Storm Haven
UPDATE - confirmed Parvo :( Waiting to be admitted into VCA Animal Hospitals in Oakville. She will be tested for Parvo shortly and the estimates for special care are between $3,000-$5,000. We will keep you updated on this princess, as always any donation is greatly appreciated and needed in these emergency situations. Our email has changed to [email protected] and we can issue charity receipts for anything over $25... Thank you Storm Haven Community, and keep her in your prayers.

Update. At the vets again, miss mushu is running another bad fever. Blood work here we come!Update. At the vets again, miss mushu is running another bad fever. Blood work here we come!
Little Mushu had a rough day. She (yes a she!) might of had an adverse reaction to the vaccines. She’s very lethargic, sleepy, dehydrated and not eating. Her fever was treated, given fluids and anti nausea medication. Fingers crossed she starts to turn around.
What a morning, poor Mushu is dehydrated, with an abnormally high fever and no appetite. At the vets with this guy now, updates to follow.
Mushu after a long day at the vets, feeling better though and UTD on vaccines ! If interested in adding this cutie to tour famjam, ask for an application! Or email us at [email protected]
Welcome Mushu! This little guy came to us from a shelter in Quebec. It appears he has some degree of dwarfism, and some type of an internal infection. The vets around us are very busy so his appointment is set for Monday, fingers crossed he just needs some medication and cuddles !!
Sage is happy in her forever home! Her brother Charlie is cute as a button and is showing her all his favourite places to hang out! We are so happy this girl found her forever home after being with us for a year and three months!
My name is Sage, I am spayed and UTD on vaccinations and have been living with the residents of Storm Haven since May 2019. My feral mom hid her pregnancy very well, and one morning surprised Storm Haven along with my brothers and sister. My mom was very feral and didn’t take well to being a new mom and left me in my sac, luckily Storm Haven was able to help me breath and get cleaned up! I’m pretty happy here but I know I could make a new family really happy. I love morning snuggles, I am very vocal when I want pets, I’ll hunt every insect (even spiders) I don’t mind being picked up but would rather lie beside you and get belly pets! Message the team at Storm Haven if you think I’m right for you !!
Throw Back Thursday ! Happy 6th Birthday Carl (previously Ryder) who is happy, healthy and so grateful living his country life with his dad Curtis. Such a Handsome Boy <3 !
