They give voice to our innermost dreams and thoughts, provide life to our creativity and bring us all together. For me, that's best embodied by Karen Thorn, the genius lead of @frockfuloffunk Her designs use bright colours, mixed patterns and perfect structure. She creates wearable works of art that push boundaries on "acceptable" expression in fashion. Her pieces... are eclectic, energizing and eye-catching. The attention to detail of her line is second to none. Plus, when she creates a coat, it often coordinates with an edgy addition of a hat. Just my style!! I do have a soft spot for a Spanish brand @desigual So that we have a Canadian talent that shows that international style flair that we have come to covet European design houses for.
