You cannot follow the rules if you do not know what they are. With so many announcements about COVID-19from stages of reopening to personal precautionsit can ...be hard to know what rules are currently in place. This joint statement from Public Health Sudbury & Districts, Greater Sudbury Police Service, City of Greater Sudbury, and Health Sciences North / Horizon Santé-Nord clarifies common misperceptions and repeats basic actions that by now may be common knowledge. The Top-10-COVID-Rules-to-Live-By will keep us going for the long haul and will go a long way to protect our health, our health care system, our schools, and our jobs and economy. The virus simply cannot spread easily if everyone knows the basic rules and follows them. https://www.phsd.ca/top-10-covid-rules-to-live-by/

Today marks the end of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1st - 7th). And we want to celebrate and acknowledge the hard work that parents put into ALL types of breastfeeding; exclusive breastfeeding, combo feeding, cup feeding, finger feeding, pumping breast milk, bottle feeding breastmilk, using lactation aids, breastfeeding a preemie, breastfeeding twins!.... the list goes on and on! Whether you breastfed for 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year (or longer!) we want you to honor your breastfeeding journey today and the incredible things are body can do! Did a midwife, lactation consultant, nurse or doctor help you with your breastfeeding journey? We would love to hear your stories in the comments below! Everyone's breastfeeding experience is unique and special in it's own way!
