Welcome to Rylee and Megan - our new instructors this week!!
Just received this - great testimonial for the Gravity trainers. I wanted to say a BIG thank you for introducing me to Gravity! Last night I tripped at home and fell on both knees, before Gravity that would have meant pain for days, numerous trips to the chiropractor and a lot of Advil. This morning I'm up, a little stiff but ready to go for my walk. So thank you for improving my life, I'm really going to miss you teaching.
When I take the time to reflect on my years of teaching, I am met with a ton of emotions. I am feeling sad, happy, and everything in between. I always seem to choose songs to relate to what is happening, and the first one that comes to mind is "We're Here For a Good Time, Not a Long Time" Trooper. Well, it has been a long time - 25 years teaching fitness, 15 years at this studio. Many of you have been with me for almost that amount of time. I have a couple of you that ha...ve been with me 20 years. Wow, that is dedication, loyalty. I must have been doing something right. And, it has been a good time - a very good time!! What a fun job!! It was so much fun because of all of you. We have laughed, alot! A real lot. Sometimes more that actually doing any exercise. I felt good after leaving class. "You're my inspiration" - Chicago. The things you have accomplished, and the changes you have made are amazing. Each and every one of you are amazing. I appreciate all of you, & I appreciate all you have done for me, even if you didn't know you did it!! You have stuck by me through all the ups and downs. You have watched my kids grow up, I have watched yours too. We have been through alot together.Thank you for sharing your lives with me. It was an honor to share this time with you. You are all like family to me, and I will miss our time together. But, I am not far away, I hope you will come visit me. What do I look forward to as I embark on the next phase of my life? No lesson plans, I can wear normal clothes, creating lots of really cool things!! I will miss our daily chats about what's for dinner, what we are up to on the weekend, how to fix something, and solving all the world's problems in one class!! I hope you will text me all your good recipes, and know that I am wondering what you are having for dinner, or what dessert you are making for the next family get together. I really should write that book!! Hmmm... Now, I will finish off with "I've Had The Time of My Life" - Bill Medley, Jennifer Warnes. I really have. Thank you for everything!! Lisa

Hey everyone!! I have the best news ever...first of all, yes I am retiring from teaching fitness - yay me!! Second, I know these great guys - Kyle and Brock, and they will be overseeing operations at the studio - hence the name change!! My last day of teaching is Friday May 5th. So over the next couple of weeks, you may see some new faces attending classes. These lovely new faces will be some new instructors that Kyle and Brock will be bringing on board. They would lik...e to make the transition as seamless as possible, and to keep some classes the same, and add some new classes in. Still looking for a Pilates Instructor for Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and maybe more, if they are available. Thank you for your patience during this transition. I will have more to say about this in the next few days. (ha ha - there's a surprise!!) I think that is enough info for one post!! Have a super day!! Lisa
