We're preparing to reopen soon and would like to acknowledge the support we've received from the community and beyond. Thank you to everyone who has contributed funds, plywood, feed, food for us humans, encouragement and everything else that's helped us get through these last few months. A big thanks to Sun Peaks Community Helps for their purchase of $500 of hay cubes for the horses as well as to John and crew at Purity Feeds for helping us aquire some necessary equipment for... the stables. As many of you know it was a month ago that our first foals were born to mares Gamble and Jinx on June 15 and 17. After much deliberation and having consulted with our most trusted advisors (family and friends), we can now announce that our filly (girl) and our colt (boy) are named: Bonnie & Henry These names were a pre-birth suggestion by Rebecca of Sun Peaks Stables as a possibility for a girl/boy pair and after all the other possible suggestions we considered, they just seemed to fit. We hope you agree and that you will also have opportunity to come and visit them and the rest of the herd, here in beautiful Sun Peaks!
