As some of you now know, our dear mate & longtime Sunset artist & collaborator Rowan Sentesy / DJ Rowan recently had all his music studio equipment stolen... RIGHT after setting up his new studio in the garage and being SO STOKED to have a beautiful & functional creative space. Rowan is just the coolest fella, and someone who has brought SO MUCH to our music & creative communities. There's a community crowdfund going to replace his stolen equipment and it's ALMOST at goal! Community, help! Our dear friend and long-time dancefloor-smasher & musical collaborator DJ Rowan has just been robbed. In the wee hours of Saturday morning someone pretty skilled & crafty forced their way into Rowan's studio and claimed his computer, mixer, controller.. everything. His partner Alice shares... "He moved his office/music studio out into our lovely garage a few days ago in order to enhance his creative genius and be more productive (#mancave) and last night, ...a wayward soul decided to very skillfully and silently break the (very secure) lock and take...well, pretty much everything." Rowan has been a huge & consistent creative contributor to our community, with many hundreds of hours of effort put into Victoria Electronic Music Festival, Earthdance Festival, BaseLounge, Bellyfit, Full Moon parties, Sunset Labs... really, where would we be without him??
