Chinese New Year! Today I am thinking of October 2019 when I had the time of my life visiting my best friend @itskylarobertson and @goatinkk in China and Taiwan. . 2021 is the year of the OX! I was curious and looked up what year it was when I was born and it was the year of the Fire Rabbit! cool. I was surprised to see that my lucky colors are pink, red, purple and blue. So grateful to have had my wings for display and for sale at the Pitt Meadows art gallery. I am passionate both about creating angel wings for peoples homes but also LOVE creating wings that tell a story from my heart. The Coco wings remind us how far we have come with women’s rights over the decades. It seems almost unimaginable that fashion had us disfiguring our bodies and making it hard to breath and we couldn’t vote, own businesses or property. Going for a walk with my family is one of the greatest joys that fills my heart. I love a simple and calm life. I love my husband, my children, the roof over our head, food on our plate, our health, and the endless amounts of love that friends and family bring. I am the type of person that is amazed every time water comes out of the tap. HALLELUJAH we live in a country where water comes out of the tap! With that simple list of blessings, we have more than we need and then some. My husband took these photos. I do love this one of me, i like to call it the peace in knowing that God holds the future for me and for my children. I have been a runner for most of my life. Thanks to my Grad 6 & 7 teachers who encouraged exercise (teachers are awesome!). I remember being 12 and putting on my brothers clothing so I felt safe and comfortable going on morning jogs. Pulling his hoody over my head I felt safe. I still love to run in sweaters and hoodies. I love being warm and comfortable and having the crisp cool fall air run through my lungs. If you have a pair of shoes and a body that can move then go out there and Play, Walk, Run, Jump, and skip. If you have kiddos, then take them along with you. The stress of the week will be left in the dust! HAPPY FRIDAY YAAY
