She wished for a more youthful, lifted, and perkier appearance. To achieve her aesthetic goals, Dr. Avi Islur and this patient decided on a Full Breast Lift with Autoaugmentation for both breasts with a small reduction to her left breast. ... Areola size (the dark skin around the nipple) is always reduced during a lift. One big misconception of a breast lift is that the nipple and areola are removed from the breast and sutured back on. Although it may seem like it, the nipple never leaves the breast and is maintained on its blood supply. Surgery typically takes 2-2.5 hrs and recovery is 1 week.
