Today we pay our respects to those who gave their lives in service to their country. Please consider reading PoCo resident Steve Smith's tribute to those in our community that served. https://pocoheritage.org/remembrance-day/ ...And then there are those we can only remember... We honour their service each year in November From Westminster Junction they boarded the train Then landed in Europe where so many remain... #poco #portcoquitlam #bc #remembranceday #remember Port Coquitlam Community Foundation Nancy McCurrach Proud Port Coquitlam City Councillor City of Port Coquitlam Royal Canadian Legion Branch #133 Port Coquitlam

Today we say goodbye to our Museum Coordinator, Kanchan Lal. This past year she has been an invaluable asset to PoCo Heritage, steering us through these troubling times. During her time here Kanchan has been responsible for new exhibits, programs, and events, but her passion has always been programming. In pursuit of this passion she has accepted a position with the Vancouver Maritime Museum. Although we are saying goodbye Kanchan, we hope to see you around and we wish you all the best!
