Sandra Loughton has been a Theatre Baddeck volunteer since the very beginning. We quite simply could not have made theatre without her. So, we miss Sandra as much as we miss theatre!

Today, September 22, is a nation-wide #LightUpLive Day of Visibility for the Live Event Community. Last night, in advance of Hurricane Teddy, we lit up our theatre home (24 Queen St, Baddeck) red in recognition of our industry being in red alert. Hundreds of venues across the country will be doing the same. Our industry was the first to close due to COVID-19 and will be the last to re-open. Artists and live event organizations will need government support to weather this unprecedented loss of work and effectively re-open when safe to do so.
