It's been a busy few weeks in the studio! Taking time today to straighten up and enjoy some of the cute treasures we have hiding in here I may not NEED a gold watering can to top up my vases with water , but it really does bring me joy Feeling thankful for this space and everything in it today

So funny story about these snips I had been wanting a great pair of shears for awhile, but just kept buying my regular ones because it seemed it easier (and cheaper), but when I did my last my photoshoot, I was like, no! I must treat myself to some Japanese bonsai gardening scissors- I deserve it! . They did not disappoint! The first snip I did was actually at this photoshoot and @vickibartelphotographer and myself let out an audible gasp as they really did cut like butter.... Haha I've been using them non-stop ever since, and they are still as sharp as ever, a fact I'll never forget, as one day they fell off my counter and the pointy end landed directly into the top of my foot! I was wearing shoes but that didn't stop these guys from leaving a major scar It happened late at night, I just kept working, and then later realized, I probably should have gotten a stitch or two Long story short- being a florist is not for the faint of heart! I'm still using them by the way, just being a bit more careful about it now
