The Marguerite Centre

Sobey's Timberlea Rocks! Here is a post they shared..... Until Thanksgiving we have a bin at the front of the store for donations to Marguerite Center. Marguerite Center supports women recovering from addiction. It's been running for 18 years! Our staff have joined with the customers to collect food living supplies for the women there. Our 3rd delivery will happen in a couple days and another one of Thanksgiving meal items just before Thanksgiving. Thank you everyone who has helped so far and will help in the future

Halifax has lost a true philanthropist and someone who has done so much for this community. He will be missed!

The volumes at NSHA Mental Health and Addictions have dropped and cancellations increased to the point that they are concerned patients are assuming they are closed. Please get the get the word out that they are not! Appointments can be maintained and don’t need to be cancelled. Help is available!...
