Every week we ask a staff member to highlight some of their favourite Medicine Shoppe finds. Today we managed to pull Tammy, out of the compounding lab to pick some of her favourite things... 1. Jordan’s Skinny Mixes Vanilla Syrup. Tammy adds this to the kid’s smoothies so that she can use plain yogurt instead of the high sugar kind. Yummy! 2. Iron Kids Omega 3 Gummies. Brain support for kids! Especially important if they don’t eat fatty fish regularly!... 3. Scentuals Cinnamon Cocoa Butter body care gift pack! (Note to Tammy’s kids this one might be a hint ). Scentuals is a CANADIAN natural product company specializing in essential oils and amazing high quality beauty products. 4. Walton Wood Farms: Canadian Girl Hand Rescue. We all have our favourite scents, but we all agree that Walton Wood Hand Rescue is amazing stuff for sore hands. (and we know sore hands!) The Canadian Girl smells like pure Canadian maple syrup! ‘Cause we Canadian Girls are that sweet! 5. Honibe Honey Lozenges with Elderberry. (Honibe is a good PEI company) Elderberry has been shown to shorten the duration of viruses such as the flu. 6. Carmex. This is an old staple for chapped lips! Can’t go wrong! 7. JR Watkins Lemon Hand Soap. This is one of our best sellers and Tammy agrees. Smells soooo good, like lemon cream pie! Watkins has been around since 1868 and still going. There is a reason for that. A Canadian company! Love this brand!... 3. PhD smart bars: White Chocolate Blonde. Delicious with 21g of protein and only 2.1 g of sugar. 4 Nova Scotia Fisherman Rescue Balm. Ashley’s favourite go to for dry chapped skin. Great for hand sanitizer damaged hands! 5. Rural Roots lip balm! This is another great Walton Wood Farms product. They seriously have the best lip balms! 6. Aura Cacia peppermint essential oil roll on. Peppermint oil can help lessen feelings of tension, may uplift mood and promotes a sense of focus.
