Okay, while 'cautious optimism' hasn't really worked all that well over the last year, the latest report from Dr. Henry that B.C.'s infection numbers are droppi...ng an an encouraging rate is, well....encouraging. So, the proposed date to lift travel and gathering restrictions of February 5th might just actually be the day we can get back to the "normal" we have been living with since last March. (masks, distance, no hugging, dry chapped hands, one-way shopping aisles, less 'fun' etc.). Our problem is that while the Province tends to give a day or so notice of any changes to their orders, (remember New Year's?) we need about a week to get back open again. So we are unfortunately, but hopefully, extending our 'closed' date until Friday, February 15th, pending any disastrous increase in numbers, in order to give us time to get ready.
