This prairie girl is doing a happy dance in the SNOW!!! I spent some time on Sunday taking photos of our front entrance because the rain had finally stopped. But the snow that arrived by surprise today trumps a clear day for taking pics! Snow makes everything look so magical and cozy (and also covers up the leaves that never got raked up ) Scroll through them and you will see how the snow added a pretty touch to the front porch. I have to admit...my usual zest for decor...ating outside was lacking a bit this year, so I opted to go simple with more of a winter theme so I can leave it all in place for the next few months. Anyone else having a hard time giving it your all? I’m happy if I can have white lights...those alone bring a smile to my face when I pull up to the house. My sister in law did it again! Her front porch is magazine worthy, I’m swooning over her pics! It’s a perfect example of how to work those vintage finds into your holiday decor. Crocks of all sizes are perfect for fresh greens, vintage sleds are cute props along with those old windows. The icing on the cake is the hand made sign that my MIL made. Yee haw! And that’s how you do safe, socially distant, but still amazing and friendly pickup. We love that Leanne from Basement Creations is setting up market pickups from the back of a covered pickup truck! The beautiful chalk board sign with a special message for each shopper is awesome. Love it! That’s what you get when you shop local...something different that makes you feel so good!
