It was a picture-perfect day for our seventh appearance at the St. George Applefest, on of the top 100 festivals in Ontario. Lots of great food, great entertainment, lots of things for the children to do, and of course, farm-fresh apples. The Honeycrisp apples we bought were the size of softballs.

July 30 - August 1 Greater Sudbury Public Libraries Our second year touring the Greater Sudbury area and performing at the libraries. Great turnouts throughout, and as you can see, great audience response.... Looking forward to a return visit next year!

July 27 Mooretown Campground A lively group and a fun setting for our show. We are already looking forward to our return visit next year!

June 22 Spring Valley RV Resort Are you a camper or RVer? We are! And you can join me at a campground near you for a fun-filled evening of magic suitable for the entire family: from kids to grandparents!... These shows are a lot of fun as you can see on the faces of these guests. We had a great time and hope to be back again in the future!

June 21 National Aboriginal Day Magnetawan First Nation It was an honour and a privilege to be a part of this cultural and community celebration of our First Nations.

June 8, 2019 It was a picture-perfect day for a street festival and this one had it all: amazing food, the usual vendors, as well as the local shops and restaurant. The entertainment came from several stages with buskers on some of the street corners. I had the Toronto Pearson stage all to myself for a full hour and here are a few of the highlights.

May 25 Downtown Orillia Into the Green & Blues Festival It was a rainy day, but that didn't deter the folks from coming out and enjoying the music and other entertainment as the performers all moved into covered archways and storefronts.... Our location was small but all of the kids were able to sit on the floor and watch the magic. Between shows I went out and did a little close-up at another location. Here's hoping for better weather next year!

I'm not there yet, but I will be, for their Omingmak Frolics. That's their Spring (Sunrise) festival and it's coming up in just a few weeks. I'll be there to present two shows and a workshop and I'm quite excited about it. Watch for my reports, as Internet connections allow, starting May 15.

This just in ... I'll be appearing at the Georgina Family Fright Fiesta again this year. It's at the Georgina Pioneer Village this Saturday, October 21. This family event is a wonderful, and low cost Halloween event and it's early enough for the younger celebrants as it runs from 5:30 to 8:30. There is a very nominal admission charge: $1 for children and $2 for adults. Show times are: 6:30 and 7:30 in the old church.

This just in. I will be appearing at the Georgina Sno-Fest this Saturday, February 4th at the Georgina ROC. Show time is 12:15.

July 15, 16 Blenheim Cherry Festival Live from Cherry Central, the Family Magic Show. 2 days, 4 shows and a lot (cherry) pits. There was wind, which makes my outdoor shows a challenge. There was threatening rain, but it held off and blew over, making it a great two days of shows.... Full house for each of the four shows, and a few people actually came back for a repeat! I hoping for a return engagement next year.

July 1 - Canada Day Georgina Canada Day Celebration It was a damp and rainy Canada Day this year, but the spirits in Georgina were anything but damp. ... I was originally schedule to appear on stage, but with the weather that just wasn't going to work. I came up with the idea of moving the show into the chalet and that worked VERY well.Thanks to the sound crew for setting up an extra PA system! The show came off high, dry, and concluded with the production of the Canadian flag.

Georgina Fright Night The ghosts and goblins were out in full force at our second appearance here at the Georgina Fright Night. It looked like it was going to lousy weather but the spirits prevailed. A great turnout for a fun event. Two shows and both were well received.

Bobcaygeon Fall Fair Our fall fair season wrapped up with a return visit to the Bobcaygeon Fall Fair. Two shows today sharing the stage with the Clogging Grandmothers and Tori Hathaway.

St. George Applefest St. George is a small farming community near Brantford and host to one of Ontario's top 100 festivals. This fall festival brings out the latest crop of fresh apples from local producers. The stage show features some top-name entertainment along with local talent.... This was our third appearance at the festival and we have already been booked to return next fall. Look for us in the expanded children's village. Let's hope for clear weather as the later shows on Saturday were marred by heavy rains.

Willow Lake Park Summer weekends take us to campgrounds all over Ontario and we were happy to make a return visit to Willow Lake Park in Scotland (Ontario!) The outdoor stage is a great setting for this evening program.

Baby Point It was summer fun at the Baby Point Club's annual community event. Baby Point is a quiet little enclave down near Lake Ontario in west Toronto. It was a beautiful evening for this outdoor event that brought out many of the residents and their families.
