#Series1 #Post3 What happens inside the "Speech Therapy Room" ?? You would not be able to answer this question unless you have experienced it by yourself.... Many of you might have thought that all we do inside this room is "talking". Though many of us are not aware, each and every therapy session is designed to carry out certain targets which were pre-plannned based on so many underlying factors. Few of them are client's diagnosis, client's age and capabilities , family concerns, functional demand. These pre-plannned therapy session can go on for 30-60 mins depending on several consideration. Sessions must by followed by a short counselling and recommendations for home practice. As the "therapy outcome" is resulted by the triad of client, professional and family, active participation and dedication of all the three parties are very important.
