We work together to create holistic and effective treatment plans while giving helpful self-care advice to keep you happy, healthy and feeling your best. Wellness and balance is our focus. ... Our techniques are designed to decrease pain and tension in the body, mind and spirit. We have 4 treatment rooms that offer their own natural comforting atmosphere. We also offer a few self-care products to use at home to maintain your health between treatments. We are located in the heart of the beach above the hustle and bustle of Queen Street East, on the 2nd floor. We offer flexible (morning, afternoon and evening) hours, 7 days a week. Studies have shown that washing your hands for 15 seconds reduces bacterial count by about 90%. Add an additional 15 seconds of scrubbing, and the bacterial count is reduced by 99.9% ! Now ...should you stick with antibacterial soap? ... A study performed over a year in Manhattan showed that there was no statistical difference between households that used plain soap, and homes that washed with antibacterial. A year of washing with antibacterial soap did not lower bacteria counts on hands (compared to the plain soap users), nor did the antibacterial users experience any less cold-like symptoms.
