We love seeing all the support you give us through out the year and various contests. Congrats to all the winners and everyone that participated in the 2nd Annual Petawawa Ramble. We look forward to next year and seeing what surprises our family will bring with them from the Rock !

Hi everyone ! After taking some time to sit and collect my thoughts on this year. -... 163 CALENDAR days , 115 OPEN business days. It has come down to our last day for the season of 2020. Every year it is tougher to say see you next year. This year is no different, just a little harder as we expected it would be. When we started to plan our opening in May of this year it was with a lot of concerns as we were at the peak of a pandemic. Could we open ? How would we make things safe and remain operational ? Would we see customers ? It was a scary time to be honest. But...you showed us that you cared for The Shed as much as we cared to see you. It continued all spring into summer as we had condensed hours to start, and different hours till we got our groove. Right till today in to the fall season, our last day again you guys showed amazing support and generosity. Not once, and I am being totally honest did we receive a complaint about our operations or procedures. This means a lot to a small business. The Shed will close its serving window and run off the lights a last time for another long winter ahead. But we will not forget this year ever. It has been full of amazing memories for all of us. Stories have been shared between us. And while we said good bye to friends, we made new friends. But one thing remains and will always remain. The values of The Shed, we are a place that wants to leave you with a memory. We serve great food we hear, but it was built on the concept to give you an experience. When you cross the parking lot and see the rustic, multi colored sheds and you hear the familiar music you know you are close to Home. When you enter our porch, it feels like you have truly come in to my shed and this is where the memories continue and never ends. We see the tapping of the feet, the singing of songs, the smiles on your face. You see, one thing I have learnt this far in my life is that we need to balance work and life. We also need to value life’s memories and friendships more then anything. While I may be separated right now by thousands of miles from my Home in Newfoundland, it means the world to me to share this experience of balance in my life with you all. So, we will see you next year. It is time now for us to take a much needed break. Maybe this is my winter to start that Mémoires of The Shed that you all are a part of. Thanks everyone for another super day ! We ran out mid afternoon and got a quick break to restock for supper hour. So we have sold out of Newfie pop & cheesecakes. We have a limited supply for tomorrow in our main area of poutine. Being a seasonal business and having to close on a certain day we don’t overstock and I try to guestimate(Army Term) for the last weeks order. Well I may be close this year but not sure how long we will make it on our final day. In saying that I... will post here tomorrow if you sell us out before our regular closing of 7pm. So stay tuned. Otherwise come get a last taste of some delicious poutine and donairs !! Thanks once again and I will do a Facebook Live to close out our 5th season with you it seems to be harder every year to say see y’a later. But really this shows me how much we all care about a great experience in The Shed and creating memories that last from season to season.
