So I was going through Sam & Dan's wedding album today because I wanted to reference a design choice they made with Celsia Florist when I realize that today is their FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! Today, last year, Sam and Dan exchanged vows at Stanley Park Pavilion and included me on their amazing day! What a magical coincidence! No better way to study botany than to be surrounded by the wonderful, flagrant arch florals from last night's wedding (beautifully arranged by @ajrdesigns1). My favorite part of wedding florals is when they get to be my table's centre peice afterwards.

That sun hit the arch with PERFECTION just before the ceremony. I'm absolutely in love with everything about this arch from yesterday. #nofilter #elopement

I know we haven't been very active on social media in the last little while. Dealing with COVID has taken a personal toll on my mental health so I opted to funnel the energy I did have for work into ensuring I was helping my clients. The rest was all for my family! I'm going to try to pick up that social media ball again! To start off, I'm going to share this personal photo from Note Photography. We did a one year old cake smash and family photos with this awesome photographer and got some amazing shots of my little assistant; check it out!

There is no question that we're dealing with some unprecedented situations right now and our hearts go out to all the couples that are forced to change their wedding vision. ThistleBEA is currently reaching out to all our couples getting married until June with support on rescheduling and preparing for the worst (but hoping for the best).
