We love this photo of BMo and our beloved derby volunteer and participant Steve Ray. Smiles for miles. These two are a riot together and we can't wait to see them in action in at the Tofino Saltwater Classic next year.

Thank you to the District of Tofino for honouring our fundraiser's founder Brendan Morrison with this Volunteer Recognition Award for the Saltwater Classic. The award was presented to Brendan at this week's virtual Tofino Council Meeting. Thanking all the volunteers who have helped make the event a success, Brendan said, "I'm humbled by the recognition. This is definitely a team award."

Dear friends and supporters, We are sorry to say that the 2020 Tofino Saltwater Classic has been cancelled. Here's a note from our founder, Brendan Morrison: The decision to move forward with the event or cancel it until next year has been extremely difficult and one not taken lightly. It has weighed on my conscience for weeks. Due to the current circumstances pertaining to the COVID 19 pandemic, however, the Tofino Saltwater Classic will be placed on the long term injury... reserve list (hockey term!) for 2020 and will return again in 2021."
