Pergola art! Check out this artistically inspired build by UrbanTerra Landscape & Design: "The build is 14'x14' and we designed & built it using true 6x6" cedar timbers to get a little more of a beefy look than a traditional milled 6x6" frame. The entire structure was burnt using a Japanese style Shou Sugi Ban technique and then hand brushed with oil. For the back privacy and shade panels, we built them open concept with openings on all sides for airflow, and the panels thems...elves were built using cedar shiplap. The project was designed and built by me with help on the structure by Corktown Deck Company. The burning and oiling was completed by Charclad: Authentic Japanese Shou Sugi Ban."
