Goodness gracious me, Its almost August!!!! It has been a strange few months in the Tons of Bike Gear world, very unusual, no rides, no customer appreciation bbq, no crowds. We still have a lot of laughs and some good chats as our fabulous customers stand in line and share experiences with all our fellow riders. Again, we cannot thank you enough for your support throughout these COVID times. Speaking of COVID, as of Friday July 31, masks must be worn in the store. (West Li...ncoln by-law) As always we look forward to seeing everyone and although we cannot have large gatherings or host any events, we do allow group rides and encourage social distancing at all times. Good morning to all our fabulous customers, how are you holding up in these super hot conditions?? Mother nature is certainly giving us some tropical weather, or maybe it is her way of trying to melt away this COVID-19 virus that has plagued us long enough. Thank you once again for social distancing and helping in this Covid battle. We must continue to follow the guidelines and allow a maximum of 4 customers at a time in the store. Mask wearing is still a personal choice, we ...will know more after July 23rd. I cannot find enough words to thank all of our loyal customers who stand in line in these high temperatures to support our small business. You are terrific. Fortunately we were able to secure cases of water and now have our fridge on site for you to enjoy a complimentary bottle of water as you go on your ride or stand in line. On a more exciting note, we have received some of our long awaited items, HELMETS, BELLS, VEST CHAINS, STIRRUPS & SUNGLASSES. Next week we hope to have the remainder of our orders which should hopefully contain, our Textile Jackets, Flannel Shirts, Purses, Thigh bags etc. Thank you again for your patience and loyalty. Well here we are at the end of June, we have had some really good weather, which has allowed us to get the bikes out and take advantage of this gorgeous area we live in. Unfortunately we have been unable to enjoy the many fun charity rides that make up most of our summer. We can allow smaller groups of motorcycles in the driveway with the understanding that everyone follows the safe distancing rules and keep 6 ft apart when enjoying a chat with fellow riders. We are allowing... 4 customers at a time in the store with a safe distancing policy in effect. Ed is spending his time in his "Goldfish Bowl" behind a 8 x 4 sheet of plexiglass. Ed and I really do not enjoy this way of doing business, however, we are fortunate enough to have terrific customers who completely understand the situation we are in. Thank you so much to those of you who are following the rules to keep us all safe and healthy and allow us to keep the store open. On a brighter note, Ed has put some fabulous Leather Jackets on Sale and are on racks outside of the store. Do not miss out if you are looking for a good jacket. Please note: We have also changed our hours for the remainder of the 2020 season. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who practiced safe distancing on Sunday and fully understood our reasoning for blocking groups from entering the driveway. Ed and I do not enjoy conducting business this way, however, it is necessary to help keep everyone safe. This Pandemic is not over. We have to follow and obey the law. At this time we would like to ask all motorcycle clubs/ groups to please refrain from gathering at the store. We do appreciate your support... at all times, however, during these "COVID" times, large groups or gatherings will result in a very heavy fine and or store closure. Unfortunately we cannot allow any large groups of gatherings on the premises. We are allowing groups of four in the store and have safe distancing line up outside the store. Thank you to all of our fabulous customers who came to support us as we opened this weekend. We did everything we possibly could to keep everyone safe and I'm pleased to say that the majority of riders did practice safe distancing and sanitization requests. The line moved relatively quickly, considering the nature of our business. It was lovely chatting with everyone as you moved up the line. Thank you all again Safe Riding Always.

Thank you so very much for all of your concerns and positive comments. One topic that is causing concern is our "porta potty" Ladies I hear you and feel your pain. Yes the guys can pop behind the barn, ladies not so much. This is a HUGE issue for us as our customers are extremely important to us. So much so, we are going to call West Lincoln Township on Monday morning and find out how we can handle this.... We hope they will give us the okay to go ahead and open. I have some good news, at long last we have our safety measures in place and are opening a few days ahead of schedule. We will be opening Saturday (tomorrow) morning at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Our hours will be as follows:... MONDAY - CLOSED TUESDAY - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WEDNESDAY - BY APPOINTMENT ONLY THURSDAY - 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. FRIDAY - 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. SATURDAY 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. SUNDAY 9 a.m.-5 p.m,. Of course there are restrictions set by Health Canada that we must follow. One Customer at a time in the store Everyone Must sanitize prior to entering the store Ed will be working behind a plexiglass shield and will do his utmost to ensure everyone gets the great service you have all been used to. It may mean you have to stand in line for a bit, however, we will try to move things along as quickly as possible. Unfortunately our washroom will remain closed. Oh my Goodness, we are actually getting a sunny Saturday on the May long weekend. Its been a while since that has happened. I just want to give you the latest update. As we are all aware the government has given the go ahead to certain retail outlets to open up for business. Our plan is to Open up on THURSDAY JUNE 4TH AT 9 A.M.... As with the majority of stores, we will be practicing social distancing, you may have to stand in line for a bit, however, we will do our best to move everyone through as quickly as possible. We will ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided before and after being in the store. We will be limiting the number of customers in the store at any given time in order to keep in line with the 6ft distance requirements. Unfortunately we cannot host any events this season. Thank you for understanding. As always we look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying your biker tales, however, I dont think we will be able to share those stories for a little while yet. Hello and Happy Tuesday to one and all. As we enter another week of self isolation and weather the endless queues ( lol Queens English), lines at grocery stores, we hope you and your families are staying safe and healthy. We receive calls every day from anxious riders who love to support the small local store, asking if we are open or offering curb pickup. Unfortunately the answer to both questions is no. The store is too small to adhere to the safe distancing rule. And the ...main one is trying on of clothes, helmets, boots etc. We cannot sanitize some of these items, therefore, we cannot allow anyone to try on. We have no idea how long this will continue, however, we do want to thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing everyone again in our safe and healthy future.
