Consuming whole foods like fruits and vegetables, gives your body the nutrients it needs, and can even aid in protecting your teeth. For example, eating a balanced diet, helps provide your saliva with special digestive properties, that reduce the amount of food debris in your mouth. These helpful enzymes will also coat your teeth, to aid in protecting your enamel. Nutrition plays a big role in your Oral health, so be mindful when selecting food and drinks. Avoiding foods with large amounts of sugar, is a good start. If you have questions or concerns about your diet, and your Oral health, your Toothworks Boardwalk Dentist would be happy to give you helpful tips and advice. #Balance #CleanEating #OverallHealth #OralHealth
