What's a 'Crispy' beer?" This has been our most common question in the Taproom & Bottle Shop since we released our latest batch of Open Invite. "Crispy" is a nod to the crisp mouthfeel you get from the lager yeast we use. It's a slower, bottom fermenting yeast strain that results in a clean, crushable and - you guessed it - crispy beer. Each iteration of the Open Invite series is then dry-hopped with a different one of our favorite hops. The latest being Mandarina Bavaria, giving a slightly fruity and orange zest aroma. It's available in the Bottle Shop and online at townbrewery.ca while it lasts.

Meet Mariska! One of the many wonderful people who makes Town Brewery what it is. She's an integral part of our family and has been with us, working in the taproom, for over a year. She's also contributed in other ways, such as our resident Yogi for our International Women's Day event. She's got better taste in music than most, a better attitude than almost anyone and an innate ability to bring the overall vibe meter from 7 to 10 just by walking in a room. If you see Mariska thank her for being great, we both know she deserves it.
