Have you got a post that you think should be on the Town of Hanley's Facebook page (e.g. you found an animal, an event that you might be having, or just something that you want people in town to know)? You should do a POST rather than a message to the Town. You may want to send a private message if you need information but if you need it to be public for the above reasons, click on the POST tab and post your notice there!
Due to the inclement weather yesterday, Loraas has rescheduled this week's pickup to Saturday, Nov. 14. This should allow for more time to clear snow from the streets. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Congratulations to the Candidates that will be serving on the Council for the Town of Hanley for the next 4 years!
The Town's Water Operator is exercising the fire hydrants again today. You may experience a short period of lower water pressure and the water will be flowing down the streets.
The Town's water operator is exercising some of the fire hydrants so you may experience short periods of lower pressure and you will see water running down the streets.
To save time at the Town of Hanley advance poll on Nov. 2 or the regular poll on Nov. 9, you may consider printing off a voters registration form, complete it (except for the bottom portion from the signatures down-don’t sign it till you get to the polling place) and bring it with you along with appropriate ID. Remember both polls (advance & regular) are in the big hall in the Hanley Community Centre. You will also find the registration form on our website at Hanley.ca under Administration and Municipal Election 2020 soon.
One of the 2020 Town of Hanley Election candidates posed questions for candidates and asked the office staff to forward the questions to each candidate as the Town Office had contact information for each candidate. The Town of Hanley Council nor Staff were involved in the creation of questions or the request for information. This was strictly voluntary on the part of the candidates. Please direct any questions or concerns to the candidates themselves. This information has been posted to the Town of Hanley website: hanley.ca
The automatic door openers are working on the main doors of the Hall!
