I have been sleeping in the park every fall, to help raise funds and awareness for Chrysalis House for around 12 years. It was strange this year not gathering downtown with sleeping bag and crew. Ironically it was the warmest night we have had for the event and thanks to halloween chip boxes one of the best structures we have created:) Knowing Deputy Mayor Steve Hicks and his family were going to sleep in it overnight to help the event was probably a motivator for us!
