Thoughts at the end of a Wedding Season in a Pandemic ********************************************************** What a year this has been. In all my dreams when I was becoming a Reverend and your officiant, never did I ever think a time would come where wedding parties would ask "Does this mask go with my dress?" And yet, here we are.... It was a hard year for a lot of couples. Many made the hard decision to reschedule their weddings, hoping that in a year's time big gatherings would be safe again. Other couples opted to pare down their plans to meet the ever-changing guidelines for our health and safety. This meant that instead of tables with water and sunglasses, we had tables with masks and hand sanitizer for guests. It meant that if you were inside, there were only 10 guests. It meant that if you were outside, you could have up to 100 guests. No matter the location of your ceremony and reception -in or out of doors- 2 meters were kept between each seat and there was no dancing. And still: so many of you got married! You tied yourselves to your best friends. <3 What I love most is that none of my couples cancelled outright. Despite having spent 15 weeks in lockdown situations, trapped in your home with your finacés, under the most stressful situations most of us will ever face -- even with all of this you all kept saying, "Yep. This is my person." What 2020 has confirmed for me is that no matter what it looks like, Love Wins. Whether you're married this New Years Eve or engaged I want to thank you. Thank you for being so resilient. Thank you for adapting your plans with all the grace and style you could muster. Thank you for continuing to Love. "Love knows no end to it's trust, there is no fading of it's hope. It is the one thing that still stands when all else has fallen."

One last wedding for 2020! This couple couldn’t wait another minute - pandemic or not! So they’re making it legal on their gorgeous front porch, and will celebrate their wedding in 2021 with all their friends and family. Massive congrats to Leigh & Stephanie! Wishing you both the very best in your Happily Ever After.

Where do you stand on artificial flowers? I’ve seen quite a few arrangements this year with artificial flowers and I can tell you: they are gorgeous! Would you know that these were fake, had Love Oliver Creations not said as so?
