FIRE TRAINING The Truro Fire Service will be conducting a fire training exercise Tomorrow, November 5, 2020 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Queen Street (Beside Stanfi...eld's Parking Lot). Fire Trucks will be present and smoke machines will be used. Residents may notice smoke coming from the building.

This album features many of the Firefighters and First Responders who were at the sc...ene all night and are also very likely at their day jobs right now. Go home at 6AM, take a shower and head to work. This fire had tremendous power and is not the type one would fight from inside. To consider its power and that the two buildings next door suffered no or little damage is remarkable and a testament to the skill, knowledge and dedication of this combined group. There was a medical assist call which came into Truro Fire Service last evening near 6:00 pm at the upper reaches of Victoria Park beyond the Reservoir, off a r...emote trail. Getting to the injured biker was sped up greatly with the Firefighters having quick access to the Town of Truro gator (tracked offroad vehicle). The members were able to get into the area and then help get the patient out to the waiting Emergency Health Services - EHS paramedics and ambulance. Great teamwork everyone. See more
