We recognize that the current COVID-19 situation is difficult and we are taking extra care to ensure that our patients, team, friends and family are safe. With that said we have now reduced our clinic hours from 12-4pm, as well we are currently only booking emergencies. As a community-focused practice, it is our goal to stay in close alignment with the protocols and standards established by Ontario Health Services and the Government of Canada to prevent further COVID-19 comp...lications. We have always prioritize cleaning, sterilization and sanitizing on a regular basis. In addition to our every-day sterilization practices we are taking extra precautions by: - Pre-screening patients upon entry to the practice. You will be asked if you have recently traveled, have a fever, cough, and/or any other flu-like symptoms. - Asking patients to use hand sanitizer upon entry and requesting to wash their hands before their appointment proceeds. - Increasing our secondary sterilization routine to all frequently touched surfaces. Ontario Health Services recommend the following Self-Care and Protection measures: - Stay home and away from others if you are feeling unwell. - Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water and/or apply an alcohol-based hand sanitizer and rub your hands thoroughly. - Avoid contacting your eyes, nose and mouth . - Use your sleeve to cough or sneeze into. As more information regarding COVID-19 protocols is released, we will ensure to update you about how we are taking extra care and preventative measures in regards to the situation.
