Winter is coming! Time to get your wood stove up and running and add a heat powered fan! These fans run automatically and ours have a bimetal safty device to lift the base off the stove in case it gets too hot! How Does Heat Powered Stove Fan Work?... The stove fan uses thermoelectric technology known as a Peltier Junction to convert a temperature difference into electricity. At the center of stove fan is a unique thermoelectric module. The stove fan design creats a hot side and a cold side on the module and when this happens, a principle called the Seebeck Effect causes electrons to flow within the module and electricity is generated to operate the fan. Heat Powered Stove Fan Features * No electricity or battery, powered by heat from burning stoves * Completely assembled and ready to use, place directly on the stove top to work * Works on Wood, Gas or Pellet Stoves * Gently circulate heat throughout the room * Fan speed varies automatically with stove temperature * Maximize energy from the stove and reduce fuel consumption * Quiet, safe, economical operation * Inbuilt protection system to stop the fan overheating * 15-18% fuel cost savings
Finally, at long last, the spring container has arrived. Stay tuned for some of the new stock. Those of you with orders on this container, they should be sorted and ready for pickup on Tuesday. Help us get rid of it so we can get another container on the go!
Congratulations to our latest off grid clients. For privacy we will leave their names and location out of this, but they are now online with 2800 watts worth of solar panels at 24v. They are using 2x EPever Tracer 60A controllers and a 3000 watt charging inverter and a 24v forklift battery. Glad to see everything up and running, thanks for the pics guys.
Water pump power system for the Cocagne Community Garden. Glad they finally got the water flowing.
Container Update For those of you who were waiting for specific equipment, we finally have a meaningful update. As some of you know our container of equipment intended for spring sales was delayed due to the virus. This has caused alot of grief and expense to air-ship critical components and has created critical shortages of mounting hardware and other components. The container was delayed several times and bumped from the ship all together due to prioritization of medical su...pplies. At long last it is now on board the APL Yangshan. It is scheduled for delivery on 12 September. This is not ideal, but better than another delay. Attached are some of the loading photos! Thanks to Bob and Jackson for getting this together. I appreciate you guys. When the container finally gets here we will have the following new items: Propane on demand water heaters Hydroponic growing kits Heat powered fans for wood stoves Flexible Solar Panels Portable solar suitcase panels And of course, restock of the regular items such as: Solar mounting brackets and rails Ground Screws Solar hot water tanks 100 Watt and smaller 12 volt solar panels DC Water pumps Charging inverters Hope to see things soon! Fingers still crossed.
