Road closures due to downed wires: Major Mackenzie is closed between Pine Valley and Islington in both directions. Kirby Road is closed between Weston Road and Highway 400 in both directions.

High winds expected today. Stay at least 10 metres back from downed hydro wires - which is about the length of a school bus, and call 9-1-1. If the hydro wires fall on your vehicle - stay in your vehicle and call 9-1-1.
