Thanks everyone for a great season! We are all finished now with the summer activities and preparing for the winter. You can catch me at Mount Washington Alpine Resort over Christmas and weekends for private or group lessons in snowboarding and skiing from Dec to March. New for next spring, watch for a new website offering online booking and payments and an easy to use calendar as well as some amazing new adventures in hiking on Vancouver Island.

Ill be at Victoria Paddle Fest supporting MEC and Yervana this weekend. Stop by and say hi! There are still clinic spots available, see if you can get in one with me. Im teaching Intro to Kayak and Intermediate Strokes (Bracing) My fleet of boats will be available for rent if you want to go out and join the Love Floats Pride Paddle or go for a paddle after the festival concludes. Get your gear ready for a May long weekend kayak camping trip. May 18-20 Travel from yellow point and enjoy 2 nights of kayak camping at Pirate Cove Marine Provincial Park over the May long weekend. During the day, hike the trails on De Courcy Island, or follow me on a guided tour of the Valdes Island shoreline. Included in this tour is a hike on Valdes to a spectacular vista high above the ocean and a crawl deep down into one of the many caves that create the unique landscape on Valdes Island. This trip is suitable for beginners who have paddled a few times before. I will deliver a equipment list and assist you in properly packing your kayak. All rentals of kayak equipment, camping fees and guiding is included for $350 per person.
