Valentine’s Day you say? Never heard of it.

Our new Feb window is up, by none other than @stretch_rocket, a beautiful weirdo who is equally adept at making real cakes as fake, over-the-top-ones like this massive beaut on a turning cake stand that is currently gracing our window! We knew we wanted a window for Feb that would be fun to stay and just take in for a few minutes as people walked by (I mean what else is there to do??) Something a little more involved than we would usually be able to do if we were open (nobody... wants a customer knocking down a 4 layer cake on a motorized cake stand). So definitely try and walk by this month if you can, these pictures definitely don’t do it justice! I would particularly recommend nighttime if you can, when the window is bathed in red light! @sama_rakk is a brand we introduced to Victoire last year, helmed by two sisters who shared a love of experimental and unexpected jewelry. Their name, which means sibling in the Wolof dialect of Senegal, is a hommage to both their sisterhood and their shared Senegalese and French-Canadian heritage. Senegalese culture expresses itself using bright, vibrant, and festive colours throughout its clothing and accessories. It is a celebratory style of fashion that is steeped in ...tradition. With SAMA RAKK we wanted to join the party and create an accessory that would capture the bold and vivid colorfulness we know and love. All the 411 you need for the holiday season ahead! Without a doubt, this is our favourite time of year, and we want to give you all the information you need to make your gift-giving easy and joyful. Canada Post has already warned that delivery capacity will be stretched this season and to plan ahead for items to arrive on time. So, if your desired gifting (or receiving!) items are online, we strongly encourage you to jump on it sooner rather than later. Especially since all ...shipments in Canada over 50$ are free, why wait? For gifts that need to be exchanged or returned for store credit, our policy will honour all gifts purchased from now until December 31st. There will be no Black Friday oe Cyber Monday sale, as in past years we are going to put our efforts towards a donation drive (details to come, but we’re excited!) For locals interested in getting their orders quicker, we will be offering zero-emissions bike courier service by @velozcourier on orders within their boundaries for 11$. @ainslie.annalou once said 8 year old me is my biggest style influence and I never forgot it - I would definitely have to agree! I think that’s where my love of a nice, thick corduroy stems from (any other 80s babies feel me?), especially at this time of year. You can bet I’d be in corduroy all the freaking time right about now back then! Though donning head-to-toe corduroy may not be the ~vibe~ as much anymore, these @erin_templeton Time for a Change wallets definitely scratch that corduroy itch for me!

This @valeriedumaine striped top is the epitome of flasé dah in my books (google it if ya don’t know) - chic, but chill. A good stripey will never steer ya wrong!
