From Iron Man to Mickey Mouse, Moana to Chewbacca and everything in between. If you are a fan of these Magical Movies we all know and love then this week is for you. Challenges and games themed to these unforgettable characters and movies will get everyone excited for this action packed week. Happy Monday everyone! This week at our Laurentian Youth Camps campers have the chance to Ccme on down and become the newest contestant on our hit show V Camps Week of Games. Inspired by Ellen Degeneres’ show Game of Games and other popular shows like Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right, your child will have the chance to lead their team to victory in this Game Show inspired week. Physical and mental challenges will be a focus with trivia and common knowledge throughout this week as well. All of these shows will be represented and will have a Voyageurs Camps twist on them which is sure to make this a winning week for the summer. It's never too late to register, even just for a day! HAPPY HOLIDAYS ... in July? That's right, this week at our Voyageurs Youth Camps our theme is Festive Holidays in July. Summer is hot and school is over but you know what’s really missing? The festive spirit. If you want to get into the holiday mood then why not come and celebrate all of the major holidays with Voyageurs Camps. Christmas, Halloween, Easter and many more will be featured as we theme this week of camp after the days throughout the year we all know and love. Ou...r counsellors have created fun and new activities that will be festive and fun, as well as wrapping up all of the major sports into a perfect present that your child will get to discover. Happy Friday everyone! We hope you enjoy your Canada Day weekend, but first we want to share with you our first video, Outdoor Adventure Camp: Survive the Summer! Youths will experience the outdoors like never before with qualified counselors as instructors. Having fun and learning through enjoyable outdoor activities is on the menu, every day! Swimming, Canoeing, Hiking, Shelter Building and Campfires are just a few of the items on this packed schedule. NEW for SUMMER 2019 w...e will be theming this camp into Survive The Summer. Splitting into tribes, working together to complete challenges and puzzles. We will learn about animals in our area and around the world. Years Working with LU Rec: 1st Year Program and Year: 3rd year in Forensic Science Athletics: She plays basketball for the Laurentian Voyageurs 3 facts about Bailey: 1 - Basketball: She loves playing basketball and now she’ll be playing in her 3rd year for the Women’s Laurentian Voyageurs team. 2 - Art: She likes to draw and paint. She also enjoys doing crafts. 3 - Hiking: Bailey loves to explore and go hiking on the Laurentian trails. If you are searching for her, she’s either on the basketball court or on the trails.
