Whacky-ball...here are a few items that may or may not be used in the modified game of baseball we will play at the church picnic tomorrow at VUMC. Roll one dice to determine the ball to be whacked (ranging from various sorts of balls to the dice itself to a waterballoon) and a second dice will tell you what sort of thing you will whack it with (tennis racquet canoe paddle etc). Rain poncho will be supplied for those who roll for waterballoon! Worship at 10.45 outdoors. Brimg lawn chairs. Bbq picnic to follow. Whacky ball at 1pm at the lawn of UMH.

on Sunday after the outdoor service (10:45) and bbq/picnic we will play a game called whacky-ball at 1pm. It's like baseball except when you're at bat you roll one dice to determine which bat you must use (tennis racquet, goalie stick, canoe paddle, ping pong paddle, pool noodle, pylon) and a second dice will determine which ball you will hit (ball hockey ball, whiffle ball, dice, handball, large children's bouncy ball, water balloon). For the last ball option we will provid...e a rain poncho Yes, bring a baseball glove too! For those who don't swing that way, we can also set up giant Dutch Blitz....and we will have to be creative about how water balloons will be integrated into that game.
