Not sure what our two little ground hogs are going to see this Spring, but shadow or not it sure has been a mild winter so far.

In ending 2020 in another week, we would like to take this opportunity to give a SHOUT OUT and a big THANK YOU to all of our Ontario Residents that supported Pine Portage in these trying times. A few of you have been coming to Pine Portage for quite a few years and we thank you for your loyalty and friendship. It was great having you back. For those that where first timers, it was really awesome to share, see and hear the excitement once they arrived at the dock. We even... got to host a Honeymoon. Most never even realizing what was in their own back yard, not to mention what a great way to avoid crowded beaches and parks. For those Canadian Residents that didn't make Pine Portage your 2020 Destination, give us a try it will be a trip to remember and what a way to make great family memories. To all of our loyal U.S. Residents, it was a very, very trying time for all. We missed seeing the smiles, hugs that went along with another trip to Pine Portage Lodge. I know some and most of our Non-Residents have been with us a very long time, some even over 30, 40 years. All we can do now is hope and pray that their will be some normalcy coming back into our lives and we can all be together in 2021. We missed all of you dearly. REMEMBER THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW JUST IMAGINE WHEN YOU HAVE TWO!!! 75 years in business is another celebration for Pine Portage in 2021. So Residents and Norn-Residents alike come and join us for this great Mile Stone Celebration. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND ENJOY A SAFE AND HAPPY NEWYEAR!!!

So Mr. Otter decided the easiest way to get through the ice is to use our chopped hole that we made for our water buckets. He was even catching Fish Right off the Dock lol
