Welcome Back! WOOT WOOT!!! We are so proud to announce the full re-opening of our dental office to our amazing patients and our community. We have taken the strictest measures as laid out by the Alberta Dental Association and Alberta Health Services to allow for a full re-opening of our dental office on May 19, 2020. Although we may dress a little different, as we wear our PPE, we are still the same, great team ready to take care of your smiles.... Some changes to may notice to ensure everyones safety: In order to maintain social distancing, we ask that you call our office upon your arrival and wait in your vehicle until we are ready for you. As you enter the building we will be taking your temperature, asking you some questions and giving you some hand sanitizer to use. We also ask that you dont wear gloves to your appointment. Gloves are used to prevent cross contamination. Wearing gloves to your appointment brings in outside germs into our office. We ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided instead. You may notice our new air purification systems throughout the office to ensure you are breathing in clean air while in the building. Our PPE is in place to ensure your safety as well as our staff During and after each procedure, you will see us continually wiping and sterilizing all surfaces in contact with anyone. Just as you are, we are excited to get back to serving you! We ask for your patience to allow us to provide you with safe, amazing dental care while ensuring we continue to follow all our guidelines. Covid-19 Update - April 25, 2020 Dear Our Amazing Patients and Community, In light of recent announcements from the Government of Saskatchewan and the City of Lloydminster, we are continuing to provide Essential/Emergent care at this time. We do not want anyone to suffer from severe tooth pain or extreme infection during this challenging time.... Our Doctors and Staff are doing our absolute best to answer all calls and emails from our patients. It is extremely difficult for us to limit our services during this time, especially when our patients are concerned about their oral health care. We feel you! Please trust us when we say, we want to provide you with care, but the health of our community is our primary concern. We have dedicated our lives to you, our patients, to alleviate dental pain and care for your oral health. The precaution of only seeing severe emergencies at this time is being made to protect you, our staff and our community, to continue to "flatten the curve" across both provinces, not just on one side of the border. We care deeply about you, our neighbours and family, and our biggest concern will always be the health of our community. Guidelines for allowed treatment does not come from the Local or Provincial Government but rather, our independent dental regulatory bodies. The Alberta Dental Association is working closely with Public Health Officials to decide when we can expand our services to include fillings and teeth cleanings. We miss seeing your smiling faces. We miss making tooth brushing fun and giving your kids high fives. HEY YOU !!!! We need your help!! We are pleading for more N95 industrial type masks if anyone has them at their work, on a farm, in a shop, a garage etc? They are quite common in some industries that use masks/respirators. We need more of this type of mask so we can continue to provide treatment for certain types of dental emergencies and keep those patients out of the hospitals during this COVID-19 pandemic!!
