Rynn has been a volunteer at our Centre since July 2019. Thank you for your commitment and hard work, Rynn! Here is what Rynn had to say about her experience volunteering at WCWRC: I started volunteering at the drop-in at WCWRC just over a year ago as a way to get more involved in my community. I really enjoy getting to know everyone who comes through the centre - it has really allowed me to feel more engaged and entrenched in my neighbourhood! More recently I have been volu...nteering in the community garden, which is perfect for me because I love spending time outdoors in nature and learning all about plants and gardening (thanks Jill!). There is something uniquely satisfying about growing and nurturing living things which will in turn give nourishment back to the community. The atmosphere in the WCWRC garden is always so warm and welcoming and I look forward to my shifts every week because I get to work with other amazing volunteers, staff, and community members!
