Good news due to the rain we are getting today the fire ban has been liftrd

Pleasse be advised of this press release from Georgian Bluffs Media Release Georgian Bluffs, Ontario Tuesday, July 7, 2020, 10:00 a.m.... Effective July 7, 2020, the Township of Georgian Bluffs is implementing a complete burn ban throughout the entirety of the Township. Due to dry conditions and extreme heat, the ban will remain in effect until further notice. The Township will continue to update the public regarding the status of the ban. Please contact Acting Fire Chief Jeff Gautreau at [email protected] with any questions / for further information. Basically no Campfires until further notice , come on rain

May 14th 2020 Dear WPC Seasonals The campground will be opening for the 2020 season on Saturday May 23rd,2020 at 9.00 am. The Campground will be closing October 31st 2020 at 3pm. We ask that you do not come to the Campground prior to our opening day as our staff and subcontractors will be preparing the Campground for opening on May 23rd 2020. Entry will not be permitted to the campground prior to the opening date of May 23rd 2020. Just a quick update for our seasonal campers on the current situation. I’m sure if you listened to the news today you may have heard that the provincial government has extended the state of emergency until June 2nd. Which means at this time we are still on the non essential list and closed with no access to anyone but staff. We are hoping that the government takes us off the list so we can open up. Once we are open there will be more paperwork than normal due to Covid19 there... will be your license of occupation as usual than a Covid waiver and a code of conduct all these must be completed before entry to the campground is permitted. We have uploaded PDF fill able copies on our website www.campontario.net under the forms tab. You can either fill them out and email them to us or fill them out and bring them with you once the campground is open. Please note that the license of occupation does not have dates or rates as that is not known at this time.
