I have been sewing ...for 30 plus years now, mainly self taught, had a variety of different machines, and been to many different sewing shops in countries all over the world. I have to say Peter is the best I’ve come across. He genuinely loves what he does and consequently he is brilliant at it. He takes the time to make sure I know all the different features of the old Kenmore machine I got from him and patiently explained everything again when I couldn’t remember what he’d said. Janice Allen 21 hours ago I recently inherited an old Kenmore sewing machine that wasn't working well. Sewing repair services near my home estimated a five week turn around time for a tune up. I googled Whitby Sewing Machine, and had a chat with the owner, Peter, over the phone. He offered to service the machine while I waited because I was coming from far away. The machine is like new! He even gave me a tutorial about the machine, since it didn't come with an owner's m...anual. I highly recommend Whitby Sewing Machine. It's very rare to experience customer service of this calibre.
