The Ontario Tourism Education Corporation has 100% funded training opportunities for tourism and hospitality operators this upcoming January! This training program, the Resiliency Training Series, is valued at $1,200-$1,500 dollars. Seats are limited so contact their liaison, Kieran Wells, as soon as possible. On November 3rd, 2020 from 7:00PM-8:00PM the NOHFC, in conjunction with the Community Development Committee, will be hosting an online information session on the Northern Ontario Recovery Program. The meeting will be delivered through Microsoft Teams as well as through teleconference. The Northern Ontario Recovery Program was created to help Ontario businesses recover financially from the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible projects will be conditionally funded up to $25,000.... Recently, the Township of Manitouwadge entered into a unique partnership with Barrick Gold Inc. and the Manitouwadge Economic Development Corporation to deliver small business loans to for-profit storefront businesses in the communities of Manitouwadge, Marathon and White River.
