Sat. June 20, the NATIONAL ARTS DRIVE is happening all across NORTH AMERICA! Come and be part of the fun! At our studio/gallery here in 'downtown' Bethany we will be featuring the various artists at our place. AMBERLEA WILIAMS has created a delightful children's book about her TRAVELLING GNOME who visits SE. Asia. Along with the story she has made a soft sculpture little Gnome that children love to play with. And she has made hand puppets and a charming little quilted bird house, complete with Robin and eggs. Drop in and enjoy seeing her handmade imaginative toys for children.
Paul and I are getting our studio/gallery ready for the National Arts Drive, Sat. Jun. 20 which is happening all across Canada, USA and Mexico. Here are some images showing the excellent photography of Walter and Peggy Cracknell whose art pieces are in our gallery. Please drop by and enjoy their work. Walter, Peggy and Paul have combined their talents and Paul has used some of their canvas prints to manipulate and combine with metal pieces to create unique sculptural art pieces and vases.
Come and join our local artists in their studios and have a pleasant tour of our studio/gallery and our SECRET GARDEN. See a dozen different water features. fountains and garden art as well as colourful fish, frogs and faeries hidden among the flowers. We all need the arts to relax and find solace in this crazy world these days.
We will be able to have our little studio/gallery open starting Tues. May 19, 11 am - 5 pm. If you want to visit we ask you to, please call first, so we can be ready for you. Soon our SECRET GARDEN will be open with fountains flowing, frogs, fish, faeries and flowers and birds singing. We have a Robin nesting with one baby in the Curly Hazel Tree near our bedroom window so we have to be careful and socially distance as the mom gets very upset if we come to close.
