It has been a tough year on everyone. We wanted to do something to give back and help out our friends at K9 Advocates Manitoba We have a very limited supply of our 2021 calendars. Each calendar is 25$. 15$ from each calendar will go towards K9 advocates vet care. ... We have also decided to donate a free spay or neuter to K9 Advocates for each of the first 35 calendars sold. We know this holiday season is going to be hard for a lot of families We wanted to give a little cheer back so for last two weeks we have been collecting for a reverse advent calendar Dr Ingrid and RVT Shannon dropped all the collected goodies off at Siloam mission. ... Special thanks to Paula Olafson for her very generous donation of knitted hats and mitts. We donated those to the Salvation Army place of hope. if you can be anything during this time , be kind

Am I the only one awake at 6 am reading funny tweets about dogs? ...I didn’t think so! We’d love to hear YOUR funny stories about life with your pet!... Have a great Wednesday!

Just a couple messages this chilly Monday... Firstly, we will be closed this Wednesday in observance of Remembrance day. Lest we forget... Secondly, due to a dramatic increase in Covid 19 cases in the past week and after consulting with other veterinary hospitals within the city, starting today, we will be reverting to a 'Locked Door Policy' until further notice.... While we love having you in the hospital with your pet, we have to be concerned with the safety and wellbeing of our team as well. Your pet's history will be taken by phone then we will meet you at the front door to admit your pet into the hospital. We will happily FaceTime with you during your appointment (remember you may need to turn off your wi-fi and use data so that we can contact you by FaceTime in the parking lot!) which is as close as we can get to the 'real deal' for now! Finally, we ask again that you be patient if we are running a little bit later than your anticipated appointment time. Taking histories, handling appointments, and following up by phone can be more time consuming than we anticipate and we are still trying to accommodate all of our appointment requests! That's about it for now.. Stay warm and stay safe... Dr. Carolyn and all of us at Winrose 'Because we are locally and independently owned, we can do thing differently...and we think that matters!!'
