#ThankfulThursday On November 3, the Harvest CREW gathered for the presentation of Volunteer Manitoba's Lieutenant Governor's Make a Difference Community Award to our very own Harvest Star Kyle LeBlanc. The award was presented to Kyle by Malaya Marcelino, MLA Notre Dame. Since 2018, Kyle has completed over 3,180 volunteer hours at Harvest. Thank you to The S.I.G.N. Foundation for donating 3,000 lbs. of pasta. At 2 ounces of dry pasta per serving that is 24,000 meals! ... Thank you to Trans Canada Brewing Company for hosting a food drive and collecting 201 lbs. of non-perishables! Thank you to Elsie Pounder for selling homemade masks with the proceeds going to Harvest! So far, she's donated $3,350. Thank you to North Winnipeg Walmart for raising a grand total of $14,840.91 during their Fight Hunger Spark Change campaign! Thank you to Food Banks Canada for distributing 12 skids of protein items to Harvest, to help feed hungry Manitobans!

If you receive or have received food from one of our 300+ food banks across Manitoba, please visit winnipegharvest.org/harvestvoices to fill out our Harvest Voices survey to be entered to win a $100 grocery gift card. The results of this survey are gathered to inform our annual Harvest Voices - Clients Speak Out report to educate and inspire our community to participate in ensuring food security is a priority in Manitoba. More than 350 families across Winnipeg are served through City of Winnipeg Municipal Government facilities....
