On November 27, 2020, as a first step towards the first-ever federal LGBTQ2 Action Plan, Minister Bardish Chagger announced the launch of the LGBTQ2 survey. This survey will help the Government of Canada better understand the daily realities and experiences of LGBTQ2 people in Canada in areas such as employment, healthcare, housing and homelessness, and safety. The survey is available from November 27, 2020, to February 28, 2021 and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Partici...pation is voluntary and anonymous. Anyone in Canada aged 16 or older who self-identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, Transgender, intersex, queer and/or Two-Spirit are encouraged to complete the survey online, including those who identify as part of the LGBTQ2 community, but use different terms or concepts to refer to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity and expression. https://www.canada.ca//free-to-be/lgbtq2-action-plan.html

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is surveying health care providers currently practicing in Canada to learn more about the training and resources that will be most useful to help you discuss COVID-19 vaccines with patients/clients, and to receive the vaccine yourself when they become available. While the questionnaire places some emphasis on health care providers who engage in vaccination-related activities in their practice, we are interested in the views of other h...ealth care providers as well. The online survey will be available to complete until December 13, 2020. The survey can be accessed at https://ca1se.voxco.com/SE/

As some of the most trusted hospitals in the nation we know that continuing to take precautionary measures is tough. But, here’s what we also know: The science has not changed. Masks slow the spread of COVID-19. Diligently washing our hands stops its transmission. And staying 6 feet apart from those we don’t live with makes it harder for the disease to spread too. https://www.everymaskup.com/ - From NCSBN

Statistics Canada is now administering a short crowdsourced questionnaire on the Impacts of COVID-19 on Health Care Workers: Infection Prevention and Control. This initiative is a collaboration between Statistics Canada, Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and the Canadian Institute for Health Information. The online questionnaire is accessible from November 24 to December 13, 2020. The objective is to understand the impacts of COVID-19 on Canadian health care ...workers, with particular focus on access to personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection prevention and control (IPC) measures in the workplace. The information we collect will help to inform the delivery of health care services, and to better understand what health care workers need in terms of equipment, training and support. Everyone working in a health care setting is encouraged to participate. This includes those providing health care services directly to individuals (e.g. physicians, nurses, massage therapists, dentists, dieticians), but also those providing technical support (e.g. receptionists, technicians) and other services in a health care setting (e.g. cleaning and food services staff, security). Participating is easy and secure Select the following link to participate: https://www.statcan.gc.ca/COVID-questionnaire-IPC
