Yellow Peril: Queer Destiny 25.01.2021

Our #vanmutualaid campaign launches TODAY! The first release of our Mutual Aid tees, tote bags, buttons, and stickers is now available in our online store!!! St...ay tuned for our next drop in the coming weeks! http://sqz.co/mutualaid Each item is designed and produced by our unionized co-op members, with proceeds directed to supporting the mutual aid efforts of Coming Together Vancouver an amazing grassroots organization that has been doing incredible work facilitating community members in sharing resources and supporting one another during the COVID-19 pandemic. We’ve been working closely with their team over the past several weeks to pool our resources, networks, and skills to bring help to those who need it most in our communities. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with the Coming Together Vancouver team on this, and are honoured that our first retail collection is dedicated to such an important cause! While restrictions may be lifting, inequality unfortunately hasn’t gone anywhere. Your contributions are what will make sustained, ongoing mutual aid efforts in our community possible; all while supporting hard hit local artists’ labour during this time of financial precarity. We aim to raise a minimum of $50,000 through this campaign by the end of summer 2020. Help us meet our goal of bringing real support to those who need it most! Featured designs by VALU CO-OP members Annie Canto (fistbump illustration + stickers), Sylvan Hamburger (t-shirt), and Shira Anisman (tote bag).
