There is so much going on in our worlds that we cannot control. Take sometime to reconnect with your core self. Yoga Nidra provides an opportunity for the body and mind to renew and reset. It's an opportunity to slow the mind and clear the clutter of our busy minds.
I love to make my Yoga Nidra practice as supported and comfortable as I can. For me, I like to use a weighted blanket, a small pillow under my head, an eye pillow, something in the palm of my hands, such a small weighted pillows or crystals, a pillow under my knees, a folded blanket under my hips, warm socks and my earphones. The goal is to support your body as much as possible for how your body is today - not yesturday's body, tomorrow's body or what you think you should fe...el or do. Do what is most supported for you. Find things around your home that help relax and support your body - a rolled yoga mat under your knees, a scarf to cover your eyes, a pillow between your legs if you are side laying. Share what you like to use at home to feel support and cozy!
